Dear AMLOTUS students

This constitutes to inform you of the new school policy regarding annual vacation, effective immediately. As per Federal Regulations 8 CFR 214.2(f)(5)(iii), nonimmigrant F1 students must complete an academic year before being eligible to take annual vacation and otherwise no longer allows students to take annual vacations without completing an academic year.

To comply with the Federal Regulations 8 CFR 214.2(f)(5)(iii), Amlotus no longer allows students to take a 4-week break after completing a 12-week course as was stated by the previous school’s policy. As F-1 nonimmigrant students, you are eligible for an annual vacation only after completing an academic year and are considered in status if you take just one vacation per academic year per 8 CFR 214.2(f)(5)(iii).
